Rebel in the Rye (2017)
Why do you give up so fast?
Well, you see, I used to be the type of person to go through hell and back for people, but once I got through it, I looked around and I was alone. I went through it alone. Every time. But every time it happened, it taught me how to see it faster and catch it faster for the next time. Now I’m at a point where I can easily see what I deserve and what I don’t. So I don’t think of it as giving up easily, I think of it as going after what I deserve and letting go of whatever preventing me from getting that.

After few months, after I left you without any clue, after the last talk we had, after the last time you asked ‘are you avoiding me?’
Well, yes I was. That supposed to be the answer, but I know, I said ‘no’ at that time, for the sake of your feeling. I’m bad, I know, cause after that, I left without a note.
Now, without any explanation, you know. I’m leaving.
Now, without any explanation, I know, you’re doing just fine. I’m glad.
See? Here’s the thing, as much as we wanted to, we know this feeling was only made by the things we used to have. We used to have that many times to spend together, we used to have that many topics to talk about, we used to have many disagreement to fight about, we used to have songs that we’d like to sing into, we used to have some places we’d like to hang with.
I guess, it is the best decision to let myself get used to something new without you. It is a success I would say, even though everytime I’m happy I know you’ll be thrilled to hear my story and everytime I feel upset I also know you’ll be there to calm me down.
But again, it’s only a habit. I already get used to do everything without you. Space, distance, time or whatever it is does heal. It does gave you some new air to breath in to.
I guess, you’re doing fine get used to something new. Travelling to places you want. We used to have us, not anymore. Be happy!
Thing happens.
Life happens.
You happens.
Shit happens.
No one owe an explanation nor a closure. Move on will be just fine. Don’t you think?
